Cookie policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar storage technologies are, which ones EURO OUTLET CLUB currently uses and how you can manage them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the user's browser. Together with other local browser storage technologies (such as localStorage), they allow a site to remember information between pages or between visits, for example the contents of a shopping basket or the state of an open session.
2. Cookie categories and your consent
At EURO OUTLET CLUB we classify storage into four categories. Necessary storage is always active, because without it the shop does not work. Preference, statistics and marketing storage is only activated if you give your consent in the cookie banner; until you do, or if you refuse, it collects no data and stores no cookies on your device.
- Necessary: essential for the operation of the site (shopping basket, sign-in and security). They do not require consent, as they are technical storage.
- Preferences: allow choices that change the appearance or behaviour of the site to be remembered, in order to offer you a more personalised experience.
- Statistics: help us understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used, so that we can detect problems and improve it.
- Marketing: used to display relevant content and advertising on and off the site and to measure its effectiveness.
You can give, change or withdraw your consent at any time, and just as easily as you gave it, from or from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
3. Necessary technical storage in use
Regardless of your choice, we use the following technical storage, which is strictly essential for the operation of the shop:
- Shopping basket (localStorage): we store the items you add to the basket in your browser's local storage, so that they are not lost as you move between pages or when you come back later. This data does not leave your browser unless you complete an order.
- Last order summary (sessionStorage): when you confirm a purchase we temporarily store the order details so that we can show them to you on the confirmation page. It is deleted automatically when you close the tab.
- First-party audience measurement (cookie
eoc-med): to find out how many people visit the shop we use a first-party cookie lasting 30 minutes that contains only a random identifier, unconnected to your data. It allows us to count one visit as one visit and not as ten pages. Your IP address, your browser and any data that could identify you are not recorded; the information is used solely in aggregate form, it is not cross-referenced with your order or your account, and it is neither shared with third parties nor used to track you across other websites. In accordance with the AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency) guidance on the use of cookies, this first-party audience measurement, which is strictly aggregated and limited to this site, is exempt from the consent requirement. Third-party analytics (Google Analytics), which does require your consent, is only loaded if you authorise it in the statistics category. - Authentication session cookies: if you sign in with an account, we use a technical session cookie to keep you identified while you browse the Site. It is strictly necessary for the operation of the customer area and does not require consent under cookie legislation, as it is a technical or operationally necessary cookie.
4. Details of our own storage
| Name | Type | Ownership | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
outlet-cart-v1 | localStorage | First-party | Keep the items in the basket | Until you delete it from your browser |
last-order | sessionStorage | First-party | Show the summary of the confirmed order | Session (deleted when the tab is closed) |
sb-*-auth-token | Cookie | First-party, managed by our authentication provider as a processor | Keep your account session open | Duration of the session, renewed automatically |
eoc-med | Cookie | First-party | Count visits in aggregate form (random identifier, no personal data) | 30 minutes |
eoc-cookie-consent | Cookie and localStorage | First-party | Remember your cookie consent preferences so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit | 180 days |
The statistics and marketing categories only store cookies or process data with third parties once you have authorised them. In the case of the Meta pixel, its file is downloaded with the page but starts out disabled: it sends no information and stores no cookies until you authorise the marketing category. Whenever a new provider is added to one of those categories, this policy will be updated before it is activated.
5. How to disable or delete these technologies
As this is necessary technical storage, disabling it may affect the operation of the basket or of your account session. Even so, you can manage or delete it at any time from your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy, search and services → Browsing data.
